The Linux Source if the new source for all things Linux.
What is Linux?
One of the best features of Linux is the fact that the source code (the
'program' itself before it gets compiled) is freely available. This means
that if a bug is found, the many developers of Linux around the world can
work on this bug and produce a fix or update within a short time (usually a
few days). The same is true if a new feature is desired. If you have
experience with C/C++, you can make 'fixes' to the operating system or add new
features to it and release it to the world. There are tens of thousands of
programmers that have worked on or are working on some aspect of Linux, it is
because of this that Linux has the stability and features that it has today,
and guarantees its future.
What does The Linux Source do?
Above all, we want to help promote Linux among computer users around the world.
